An Israeli soldier was wounded very lightly, Thursday evening, by a mortar shell that was fired at an Israel Defense Forces unit during an operation on the Gaza border fence.

During the operation, the unit exposed six explosive devices that were intended to be used against Israeli forces. A senior officer said that if they would have been detonated, the results would have been very serious.
