Assad: Western Invasion will Cost Unaffordable Price

Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad said, Thursday, foreign interference in his battle with opposition forces would not be tolerated. Interviewed by a Russia Today television, he said, "I do not think the West is going [to intervene], but if they do so, nobody can tell what is next. I think the price of this [foreign] invasion, if it happened, is going to be more than the whole world can afford." He continued, "The price for interference would be a domino effect which would hurt the whole world from the Atlantic to the Pacific."
