Price of Eggs in Israel to Rise

Shoppers will have to pay 4 and a half more agurot for eggs. A government committee recommended the rise in price because of a reported increase in the production costs of farmers. Eggs are one of the products in which the price is regulated by the government. There are 100 agurot per shekel. The average price of eggs is around 11 to 13 shekels.
