The two main candidates for leadership of the Knesset's Jewish Home party commented on today's primaries which will determine who will head the party. "Today is a big day," said Naftali Bennett, "54,000 voters are going to the polls to finally make a change after so many years. Religious zionism will finally be in a position of influence and not on the sidelines."
"It's time to lead and influence Israeli politics rather than just settle for Minister of Science and Technology, "said Bennett, adding," We deserve more. We need to make contributions for the people of Israel."
The other main candidate, MK Zevulun Orlev, said, "this choice is a choice of selecting someone with experience, a responsible person with many achievements and successes, and next week I will recommend to include Naftali Bennett, in order to give a chance to young people with no political experience to acquire the experience and prove themselves in the political war which is not simple."
