Amrousi Supports Bennett, Jeremy Gimpel Supports Orlev

Emily Amrousi, a former spokesperson for the Council of Judea and Samaria wrote on her Facebook page that she supports Naftali Bennett in the Jewish Home Party primaries for party leadership. A email with quotes from her Facebook posting were sent out to party members by the Bennett campaign. Amrousi said that Bennett was not only charismatic but a man of action as well. Bennett is a former head of the Council of Judea and Samaria.

Meanwhile, Jeremy Gimpel, the young American-Israeli from the popular Tuesday Night Live on Jerusalem TV show is backing Member of Knesset Zevulun Orlev. Gimpel stated that he thinks highly of Bennett but wants someone with hands-on experience in the day-to-day Knesset workings as party leader.

A third candidate, Yehuda Cohen, is running for party leader as well.

Primaries for party leadership will take place Tuesday November 6th from 3;00 pm - 10:00 pm. Primaries for the party list will take place next week. This will be the party's first even primaries.
