Ayalon: Whoever US Elects will be Good for Israel

Deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon said, Tuesday morning, that Israel was indifferent to the results of the elections in the United States. Interviewed by Kol Yisrael government radio, he said Israel will continue to enjoy bipartisan support in Washington, DC, and the best president for Israel will be whoever is chosen by the American public.

The former ambassador to the U.S. said if Barack Obama is re-elected, he does not foresee pressure on Israel to reach an agreement with or make concessions to the Palestinian Authority. He added, "We don't need any pressure to make peace or to reach diplomatic agreements."
