The process of dismissing journalists and administrative workers at the Ma'ariv daily will be postponed until Wednesday. The delay was agreed to at a Monday meeting between members of the workers' committee and new owner Shlomo Ben-Tzvi.

The extent of the layoffs and their effect on the stories covered by the newspaper are not known.
