Knesset Extends Summer Time

The Knesset approved, Monday, the second and third readings of a bill to extend Summer (Daylight Savings) Time to an average of 193 days a year.

Under the bill, clocks will spring forward an hour at 2:00 a.m. on the Friday before the last Sunday in March and fall back an hour at 2:00 a.m. on the first Sunday after October 1st, unless Rosh Hashana, the Jewish New Year, falls on that Sunday.
