At least 20 people were killed on Sunday night in an explosion at the Yarmouk area on the outskirts of Damascus, which serves as a camp for people registered as Palestinian refugees.

According to Syrian opposition activists, the blast was part of an assault by the Syrian army on rebel positions in the camp.
