Member of Knesset Ahmed Tibi (Ra'am-Ta'al United Arab List) attacked journalist Hagai Segal during a panel discussion, Sunday evening, accusing Segal of "blowing up people" as a member of "the Jewish underground" at the end of the 1980s. The Knesset member refused to answer when Segal recalled that Tibi was an advisor to arch terrorist Yassir Arafat, who, Segal said, "brought rivers of blood" and the blood of hundreds of Jews was on his hands.
Chairman Danny Dayan of the Yesha Council of Jewish Communities in Judea and Samaria (Shomron) read, on the stage, Tibi's words of incitement in praise of terrorists. Tibi clarified that, as far as he was concerned, they were Palestinians who were killed as heroes for the homeland and he did not mean terrorists [in general -ed.].
