Steinitz: We Must Not Have a ‘Migron 2’

Finance Minister Yuval Steinitz visited protesters from the Yesha (Judea and Samaria) Council in Jerusalem to express support for their calls to approve the Levy Report. “The government must debate, approve and implement the Levy Report in order to prevent the morally and legally illogical situation in which only in Judea and Samaria an entire neighborhood can be moved years after it was established,” he said.

“We cannot let cases like that of the Ulpana neighborhood or Migron be repeated,” he added. Steinitz finished with a dig at Defense Minister Ehud Barak, saying, “I hope that in a few months we won’t have a defense minister who shoves a stick in the wheels and works against settlement.”
