A 22-year-old Gaza man was seriously wounded, Friday morning, near the El-Bourej area of central Gaza, according to a local health ministry spokesman cited by Agence France Presse. The spokesman said the man was near the security fence when he was hit.

Local sources claimed Israel launched a number of tank shells at agricultural areas that were being worked by farmers. There was no immediate comment from the Israeli military.
