US to Help Jordan Upgrade its Air Force

The United States Air Force announced, this week, that it will allocate $26 million to the Lockheed-Martin company to upgrade communications, supervision and control infrastructure for the Royal Jordanian Air Force, as well as to improve its air command.

The U.S. embassy in Amman said that the upgrade will help the Hashemite kingdom defend its air space and maintain its sovereignty.
