Romney Wins Israeli Absentee Ballot Exit Poll

iVoteIsrael, which bills itself as the leading organization facilitating the ability of Americans in Israel to vote in the US elections, announced, Thursday evening, that "80,000 Americans from Israel have already submitted their ballots to their local county board of elections." An iVoteIsrael exit poll surveyed 1,572 voters and found that 85 percent voted for Mitt Romney and 14 percent voted for Barack Obama in the presidential race. In congressional contests, 62 percent voted for the Republican party and 28 percent voted Democratic. Sixty-one percent of voters from Israel cited Jerusalem and peace process negotiations as a primary motivating factor for voting.
