About 550 employees of Jerusalem's Bikur Holim hospital will abandon the wards all day on Sunday and attend information meetings at the Histadrut Labor Federation building in the capital, due to the hospital's difficult financial situation, which resulted in the workers receiving only part of their September salaries. Payments to pension and provident funds were also not made.

The workers said that despite the sanction, the lives of the patients will not be put at risk.
