The Health Ministry decided, Thursday, to close the Neve Ya'akov psychiatric hospital in Petach Tikva and transfer its patients to other institutions.

The decision came a day after a raid by police investigators, which resulted in most of the staff being detained on suspicion of abusing the patients.
