The Russian parliament redefined the criteria for charges of treason by a majority of 138-0 Wednesday.

From now on, not only will espionage be considered treason; advising or financing international organizations engaged in activities that pose a risk to Russian security will be as well.

In response, anti-Putin activists explained that treason would now include complaints to Amnesty, or to the European Human Rights Court.
