The Company for Location and Restitution of Holocaust Victims' Assets and the Survivors Welfare Fund have announced that by the end of the year, they intend to refurbish 350 apartments of Holocaust survivors, at a total cost of 1.5 million Israeli shekels, reports Voice of Israel radio.

The head of the restitution company, Micha Harish, says that in addition to the aid that the group gives the survivors - including food, medicines and grants - it was decided, in addition,  to refurbish the houses in order to raise the survivors' standard of lliving.
