New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg announced that until Friday, traffic entering Manhatan will be limited to vehicles carrying three or more passengers. This is in order to minimize the expected bottlenecks and traffic jams as Manhattan returns to normal while thousands attempt to come to the borough to see the devastation left by the storm.

The Mayor announced that the New York Marathon will take place as planned this coming Sunday.
