Welfare offices in the city of Haifa will be closed until 10:30 a.m. on Thursday morning, in protest against an attack on a welfare officer in Haifa’s juvenile court on Wednesday, by a mother whose son was taken into custody.

The mother was arrested and taken to a psychiatric examination, while the officer, who required medical treatment following the attack, was evacuated to the Rambam hospital.
