MK Alex Miller (Yisrael Beytenu) welcomed on Wednesday the end of a strike in Israel’s technical colleges, which had been going on since the beginning of the academic year over the government’s failure to provide promised funding. The government promised to provide additional budgets to the colleges, thus allowing the end of the strike.
“The additional budget provides breathing space to the technical colleges and I was pleased to find out that the academic year will begin,” said Miller, who added that the burden of proof is now on the shoulders of students, and they must study in full force in order to ensure the future prosperity of the Israeli economy.
