Likud MK Ofir Akunis declared Wednesday that he does not support the creation of a new Arab state in Judea and Samaria. “I oppose the establishment of a Palestinian state,” he told Jews living in the city of Hevron in Judea.

“I believe in our right to the land, in settlement and development. In Hevron, and in all of Judea and Samaria,” he continued.

A Palestinian Authority-led Arab state “will not be,” he stated.
