Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan warned on Tuesday that the European Union would lose Turkey if it does not join the EU as a member by 2023.
Since 1974, Turkey has conducted negotiations to join the EU, but despite many other countries having been accepted over the years, Turkey’s membership was rejected.
