Energy and Water Minister Dr. Uzi Landau and the Canadian Minister of Natural Resources, Joe Oliver, announced the establishment of a joint fund for industrial research on energy between Israel and Canada. 

Canada will fund the project, providing five million dollars over the next three years and the Israeli government, for its part, will allocate resources based on the specific needs of each project.
