Haredis Not Yet Ready to Give Suport to Likud/Yisrael

One day after approval came for the union of Yisrael Beiteinu and Likud, leaders of Israel's Haredi community and political party United Torah Judaism came out to say that they are not yet ready to give support to the party and that "Partnering with the right is not so obvious."

"You have to remember that the previous Likud government did not stand by the Haredi community in regards to anything that blew up in the Israeli public concerning religion and state. They did not support us in regards to the prisoners from Emanuel, not when the public was inflamed against us with the story of 'exclusion of women,' not in regards to the issue of income support, and with respect to the Tal Law they are zigzagging while throwing oil on the fire of the anti-haredi media, we even presented a possible solution that still has not yet ben approved by the Knesset," said a senior member of United Torah Judaism.
