25,000 Israeli Students Pray for Those in Sandy's Path

Students from the AMIT network of schools across the State of Israel added chapters of Tehilim (Psalms) into their daily prayers today, as they prayed for the victims of Hurricane Sandy in the U.S.

"We have 25,000 students," said Dr. Amnon Eldar, director general of AMIT's over 100 schools. "Many of them are from Sderot, Ashkelon and Beersheba, and when they are in danger of missile attacks, American Jews pray for them, support and come to visit them, and they help and give contributions because they are our brothers and our flesh. Most of the citizens of the United States are great friends of Israel, and when they are in trouble we feel a real need to pray for them. "
