According to a new ruling Tuesday, the Council for Higher Education will allow Ben Gurion University's political science department three weeks to prove they are commited to changing their curriculum and to incorporating a wider spectrum of political views. 

The department was originally ordered to be shut down after ruling that the curriculum was unbalanced and professors preached their own political views to students. BGU appealed the department's closure which resulted in Tuesday's hearing.
