Azriel Livnat, the father of MK Limor Livnat, and one of the original members of the underground fighting brigade Lehi, spoke of the Likud/Yisrael merger, saying he hopes the union will bring Likud back to their roots, adding, "I hope that both united parties will protect the settlements and all the land of Israel and that the vision of a Jewish state on both sides of the Jordan will be realized."
