Prime Minister's Prize Goes to Youth-At-Risk Program

The winners of the third annual Prime Minister's Prize for Entrepreneurship and Innovation have been announced. The award ceremony will be held at Ben Gurion University, as part of Global Entrepreneurship Week to be held in November 12th - 18th.

One of the two winners will be Prof. Rivka Yahav who will be recognized for her work on the development and implementation of an innovative method for early detection and treatment of environmental and developmental problems in children at risk. Such issues include difficulty in motor skills, linguistics, and emotional and behavioral issues.

The second winner will be Israeli rock musician Yoni Bloch. His new start-up venture Interlude is "a patented technology platform allows consumers to create in real-time a unique and dynamic version of a video that is based on pre-recorded audio/video segments. The result is a sharable one-of-a kind version of a popular video, created from millions of unique possibilities.

Each of the winners will receive a 70 thousand shekel development grant.
