The body of 31-year-old woman was found in an apartment on Bar Ilan Street in Bat Yam.
The woman showed clear signs of physical abuse. Her partner was taken in for questioning by the police.
Police forces arrived at the scene shortly after being called on to investigate another murder in Bat Yam, as earlier Monday a 50-year-old man was arrested after reporting to police that he shot his wife to death. Circumstances regarding that incident are not yet clear.
