Police in Bat Yam, south of Tel Aviv, assisted by inspectors from the Agriculture Ministry and the Nature and National Parks Authority, raided a house where wild birds and piranhas were kept, Monday.

They were responding to complaints about the presence of the wildlife, which is illegal to keep in a private home, especially in the case of the dangerous carnivorous fish.
