Thomas Lukaszuk, deputy premier of the Canadian province of Alberta, had to change his travel plans "in a hurry" when he found himself in the line of Gaza rocket fire on Sunday, according to the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. He was in Israel as part of a tour led by the Friends of the Simon Wiesenthal Centre for Holocaust Studies.
Lukaszuk tweeted that his vehicle was pelted with rocks as he was finishing a tour of Judea and Samaria (Shomron). He also tweeted, "No issues, but this is the daily reality here."
