Finance Minister Yuval Steinitz and Interior Minister Eli Yishai formulated a proposal for a solution to the Negev city of Sderot's economic crisis, Sunday. Sderot Mayor David Buskila signed a document containing the proposal, along with executives of the two ministries, Sunday afternoon.
The proposal includes 22 million shekels in financial assistance. According to the draft proposal, the city will receive a one-time grant of five million shekels. January and February payments of a 2.7-million-shekel budget-balancing grant would be advanced.
