MK Ofir Akunis (Likud) commented Saturday on the union between Likud and Yisrael Beiteinu, saying, "The union between Likud and Yisrael Beiteinu is one of lists not of political parties. There may be hundreds or thousands of voters who voted for Likud or Yisrael Beiteinu in the past but wil not vote for the joint list, but the union promises another term for Netanyahu as prime minister."
