The Likud's Central Committee will meet on Monday to vote on the approval of the joint Knesset list with the Yisrael Beytenu party.
During the course of the past day, Likud Minister Michael Eitan has been collecting signatures so the issue can be voted upon in a secret ballot, a fact which may make it difficult for Prime Minister Netanyahu to approve it. According to Eitan, the union is a wrong move that will reduce the power of the parties.
