13,000 Visit Rachel's Tomb

Rabbi Yoseph Schwinger, in charge of Kever Rachel (Rachel's Tomb) on behalf of the National Center for Development of the Holy Places, told Arutz Sheva, Friday, that more than 13,000 people have passed through the site of the grave since Thursday as part of observances of the anniversary of the biblical matriarch's passing, which falls on Shabbat. The observances will continue until just before the start of the Sabbath and continue Saturday evening, after the conclusion of the day of rest.
