Opposition leader and Kadima chairman Shaul Mofaz said on Thursday evening, in response to the union between the Likud and Yisrael Beytenu, “Lieberman turned the Likud into an extreme right-wing party, this is not the party of Menachem Begin and is not party which represents the sane right."

Mofaz added that "the Likud has turned into nationalist party that if elected, G-d forbid, will turn into a reality the nightmare of a bi-national state and the loss of the Jewish majority in Israel and will increase the international ostracism as well as the political, social and economic paralysis.
