Hevron Bnei Akiva to Head: Don't Go to Rabin Memorial

Youth from the Hevron branch of the Bnei Akiva movement sent on Thursday a letter to movement head Danny Hirschberg, asking him to reconsider his decision to attend a memorial for former Prime Minister Yitzchak Rabin. The letter follows a similar one sent by members of the Itamar Bnei Akiva branch.

“Last Saturday we opened the organizational month of our branch, together with all branches of the movement around the world,” the Hevron members wrote Hirschberg. “We seek during the organizational month to learn and explore our way - is the way we want to instill to our youth, the second generation of our branch and of the whole movement, that heritage that is being instilled in us under the guise of a rally in memory of Yitzchak Rabin?”
