      Yechimovich Won't Sit in Netanyahu-Liberman Coalition


      Chairwoman Shelly Yechimovich of the Labor party reacted, Thursday evening, to the union of the Yisrael Beytenu and Likud lists in the January Knesset election by calling on "the centrist forces on the political map" to join her party "so as not to allow a Lieberman-Netanyahu government to rule." Asked by Channel 2 Television if she would join the government she is trying to prevent, she said, "The joining of [Yisrael Beytenu leader Avigdor] Lieberman and [Likud leader Binyamin] Netanyahu is not a coalition, it's a new extreme racist, sexist and rightist party. I would not think of joining them. We must act to bring down this option."
