MK Ben-Ari: Don't Politicize Rabin Memorial

Member of Knesset Dr. Michael Ben-Ari (National Union Party) called upon the the Knesset not to politicize the annual memorial for Prime Minister Yitzchak Rabin. He asked the Chairman of the Election Committee, Judge Eliakim Rubinstein and Knesset Speaker Reuven Rivlin to schedule the memorial for after the elections.
"The problem that in these days [ahead of elections] there is a tendency for achieving political capital. There is reasonable fear that instead of a state memorial service dealing with Rabin the man we will get fiery election speeches that will incite people against each other all in the name of the  memory of Yitzhak Rabin."
