Members of the Meretz party protested against Israeli counterstrikes in Gaza, according to Yedioth Achronoth's online news service. There were reportedly approximately 20 protesters who demonstrated in front of the Tel Aviv home of Defense Minister Ehud Barak. The protesters said they were against any type of full-scale action against Gaza terrorists who shot approximately 80 missiles into Israel's south on Wednesday. The attacks resulted in six serious injuries and major damages. The demonstrators also charged that Barak was only motivated by poll rating ahead of the recent elections.
