The Israel Defense Force officers training ended Wednesday in a ceremony at the cadet school. The majority of new officers are residents of either Jerusalem or Tel Aviv, Israel's two largest cities.

Statistics show that 57% of new officers live in major urban cities, 19% of community settlements, 17% in villages and 7% in kibbutzim.
