Likud MKs have urged Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu not to let the upcoming elections sway his decision on how to respond to Gaza terrorism. “The elections must not delay or restrain the IDF’s response,” said MK Shama Cohen.

“We must not give the Palestinians the sense that they have immunity because of elections in Israel,” said MK Tzipi Hotovely. “We must act to destroy the terrorist infrastructure and emphasize deterrence.”
