MK Danny Danon (Likud) has called on Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu to “smash heads” in Gaza in response to a barrage of rocket attacks on southern Israel.

“The state of Israel has to smash the heads of Hamas in Gaza. A series of attacks on the heads of the Hamas organization across Gaza would stop the wave of terror,” he said. Israel must not become accustomed to rocket attacks in the south, he said.

For each rocket that hits southern Israel, the Air Force should hit senior terrorists, he explained. Currently the military responds to most attacks with strikes on minor targets such as smuggling tunnels or small weapons factories.
