Seven Syrian citizens have been arrested in Jordan for carrying high-tech equipment forbidden as spy gear. The seven had technologically advanced communications devices, night-vision goggles and equipment allowing them to intercept various types of broadcasts.
Last week Jordan announced that it had foiled an Al-Qaeda plot to carry out a string of terrorist attacks in the country.
