Most voters in the United States believe that President Barack Obama won the third and final debate which took place on Monday night. According to a poll by Reuters and Ipsos, the results of which were published on Tuesday, Obama has the support of 47% of respondents, compared with 31% who believed that Republican candidate Mitt Romney won the debate.

However, a close examination of the responses to the poll indicates that the three debates did not change significantly the voters’ opinions about the candidates.
