Defense Minister Ehud Barak reacted Tuesday to the morning explosive attack along the Gaza security fence in which an IDF soldier was badly wounded and lost his hand.

"Israel takes the attack very seriously," he said. "The IDF will respond to the incident in the right way and at the proper time."
