The Moishe House together with Sulam Yaakov and Shirat Devorah are hosting the screening of a new film entitled "A Fire in the Forest: The Life and Legacy of the Ba’al Shem Tov." The film explores the teachings of Rabbi Israel ben Eliezer (1698-1760), known as the Baal Shem Tov, the founder of the hasidic movement.

It include footage of the Baal Shem Tov's hometown in Ukraine and interviews with rabbis from Ukraine, the United States and the United Kingdom.
 
Film will be followed by a discussion facilitated by Rabbi Aaron Leibowitz, director of Sulam Yaakov yeshiva in Jerusalem. The screening will be held at the Moishe House in Jerusalem on October 24th at 8:00 PM. For more information click here.
