An Arab father had his Jewish wife and baby taken away without his knowledge in an Israeli hospital, Arutz Sheva news reported on Tuesday. The Yad L'Achim organization said that the Arab father was abusive and that the Jewish mother contacted them to have her extracted from the relationship. Yad L'Achim members had the mother and baby checked out of the hospital and taken to an undisclosed location while the father was out of the room. The Yad L'achim organization also performed a brit milah on the baby in secret without the father's knowledge. According to the Yad L'Achim website, "Our Anti-Assimilation department responds to all such calls. In some cases, this means launching military-like rescues from hostile Arab villages and setting the women up in safe houses around the country, where they can build new lives for themselves."
