Wikipedia, "the free encyclopedia that anyone can edit" lists Jewish communities in eastern, northern and southern Jerusalem, the Golan Heights, Judea and Samaria as "occupied territory." Every entry for Jewish cities, towns and neighborhoods in the regions regained in the 1967 Six Day War have the following sentence added:
"The international community considers Israeli settlements illegal under international law, but the Israeli government disputes this."
The BBC new agency from England is listed as a reference. A BBC article from 2009 interprets the Geneva Convention as condemning Israeli land as occupied. The July 2012 Levy Report, commissioned by the Israeli government interpreted the Geneva Convention as being legal under international law.
